A COMMUNITY FOR CHRISTIANS WORKING IN
Christians in Media is a UK network and community that supports, encourages and inspires Christians who work in, and with, media.
Producers, journalists, photographers, editors, content creators, social media managers, press officers, war correspondents.
Through local meet-ups and a flourishing online network, we’re seeking to help Christians better understand how their faith and work interact, and to encourage and inspire each other to be disciples whilst meeting the demands of our industry.
Our vision is to see Christians in the industry flourish and become key influencers, to see churches engaging positively with the media, and too see the life-affirming Gospel message of faith, hope and love increasingly reflected in the UK media.

PRAYER CHANGES THINGS
As Christians in Media we're big believers in the power of prayer, so it's central to everything we do for and with our community. There are two main ways we encourage prayer over our industry -
DAY OF PRAYER FOR THE MEDIA
In an era of fake news, distrust and cynicism, it’s never been more important for us to pray for the media industry, as well as those who work in and with it.
So each year we name a date for a Day of Prayer for the Media, and invite churches, families and individuals to set aside time to prayer and come alongside our community and the industry itself.
This year, mark yours and your church's diaries for Sunday 4th November, to lift up our industry and its members in prayer and give our wider communities an opportunity to understand more about what we do.
ASKING FOR PRAYER
Sometimes the weight of the industry and balancing home and work life can become overwhelming. Sometimes you need prayer for a new job, prayer for something to shift.
Sometimes it's nice to be prayed for by someone who understands your struggles. Which is why we have a nominated team of media professionals who are dedicated to praying for you.
Use our form to submit your prayer request or email us . Be as detailed or as vague as you like. There is no need to include your name or any other personal details, apart from your prayer need.
Remember that no one else will see your message or receive any of your personal information and we are committed to privacy.
